Housing: The University guarantees housing for all Study Abroad students. Some university residence halls are in the center of town, while others are as far as 30 minutes from the center by public transportation. Click here for available housing options.
Special Notes: United States citizens do not need a visa to enter the Netherlands. However, on arrival in the Netherlands, all students must register at the Dutch Foreign Police to apply for a residence permit.
A newsletter, the Amsterdam Monthly, is sent directly to all foreign students. This newsletter keeps students updated on social activities in and outside the university which are organized specifically for foreign students.
